This is a simple question with a complex answer. Most basic presentations will open on either operating system provided the file is saved in an equal to or older version than on the presenting computer. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals uses Office 2010 32-bit for Windows on all of our training Room PCs.

It's also worth mentioning that there are important compatibility differences between Windows and Mac Versions of PowerPoint that may cause differences in how your presentation functions when you use it on our Trust PCs. This includes embedded files such as Pictures, Audio or Video.

Please ensure you check these before teaching if you've not built your Presentation in house on a Trust PC. If in doubt, let us know in advance when sending your presentation and we'll be happy to test it.
