Many of our systems are designed to respond to the ever changing technologies and pedagogies of modern teaching. As a result of this many older technologies previously used in the training rooms such as X-Ray illuminators, Overhead Projectors, VCRs and cassette players aren't readily available in the Health Academy. We do however recognise that some clinical staff are still transitioning and therefore we still have access to a small selection of Visualisers/Document Cameras (for paper or Acetate), combi DVD/VCR players and X-Ray illuminators for use in select seminar rooms and Lecture Spaces that we provide limited support for. Requests to make use of these should be informed in advance of your booking through the Centre Management at Preston or Chorley and/or Event Management Teams stating clearly the medium you need, in addition to the date, time and ideal room.
Please Note: X-Ray illuminators are only available for use in Seminar 1, Seminar B and the Preston Lecture Hall.
