Socrative by MasteryConnect is a a free cloud based platform for creating and hosting quizzes, assessments and surveys used for audience response and self paced activities, assessment and teaching .
The system relies on a teaching device with the Teacher app (or computer with a web browser) to control the quizzes on their account (known as "Rooms") and BYOD (Tablets, Phones and, Desktops and Laptops) for students to participate via a web browser or the dedicated Student app.
