Note: To ensure the proper function of the kahoot in your session, please display the teaching device through a projected or TV based AV system in the training rooms.


On Your Teaching Device or Trust PC

  1. Open a modern Web Browser (Google Chrome on the Trust PC) and visit https://create.kahoot.it/login 
  2. Sign In with your username and password.
  3. In the top menu bar select My Kahoots
  4. Find the kahoot you wish to launch and press the corresponding purple Play button.
  5. Once loaded select how your students are going to participate. Classic mode is designed for individuals each participating on their own device. Teams mode is designed for groups of people sharing a device.
  6. Once loaded ensure the generated PIN code is visible to everyone in the room participating. 


On the Audience Devices

  1. Encourage your audience to visit https://kahoot.it in a modern Web browser or use the Kahoot! apps from the iTunes App Store (for iOS devices), Google Play Store (for Android Devices) or Microsoft Store (for Windows Mobile, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 Devices) and to enter the PIN from the previous step into the box provided.
  2. Once connected, simply follow the prompts onscreen to run your session. Questions will appear on the Projector/TV copy of the site along with the colour/shape coded answers. Your audience will need to press the corresponding colour/shape button on their device to answer.

Once Finished

Once you finish a session the final scores will be shown onscreen for your audience and your results will be recorded to your Teacher account. These results can be accessed by going to Your Kahoot! (accessible by going back to https://create.kahoot.it) and pressing View all of your results
