Due to a failure with the touchpanel used to control the AV System, the following practice has been established to use the AV system in Lecture Room 1
To Power On:
· Using the Remote pictured above, aim at the Projector and press the red ON button.
· Whilst the projector warms up, locate the AMX switchbox in the left hand cupboard:
o If it’s the main PC to be used – select the 1 button under the PC section.
o If it’s the laptop, press the 2 button.
· If volume needs to be set for videos, music etc, use the volume up and down buttons on the unit (in addition to the PC volume control if the PC is being used).
To Power Off:
· Using the Remote, aim at the projector and press the red STANDBY button. When asked to confirm, press the same button again.
· Press the BLANK/STANDBY button on the AMX switchbox to mute any sound.
